How does Sylfirm X work?
As a RF microneedling device, Sylfirm X combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling, but it also goes one step further. It’s dual-wave technology means it utilises both Continuous Wave and Pulsed Wave technologies, meaning your treatment can be tailored for both overall skin rejuvenation and targeted treatment of red and dark marks, all using one device. This Dual Mode with Sylfirm X gives us tremendous treatment capabilities and allows us to customize the therapy to match your aesthetic concerns
The Continuous Wave is ideal for improving collagen and skin laxity for wrinkles and sagging skin. Pulse Wave RF targets only abnormal vessels for improvement in pigment and vascularity.
The device’s ultra-fine gold needles are robotically-produced to ensure they penetrate at controlled and optimum depths (between 0.3 – 4.0mm). what TO EXPECT FROM A SYLFIRM X TREatment?
Sylfirm treatment itself last around 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas you want to target. We normally will use numbing cream (it isn’t always required it depends on area being treatment) to make the treatment even more comfortable, but to which will be applied 20 minutes pre-appointment. There could be minimal redness after the treatment which will last 1-2 hours.
Depending on the concern and severity of the condition you are looking to treat, a series of three to five treatment sessions is recommended. These typically can be spaced two to four weeks apart.
Some patients will see a visible tightening of the skin straight after treatment and an improvement in skin quality, but you can expect to see results about a month after the treatment for the reduction in the appearance of pigmentation and acne scarring, while the skin tightening effects likely to take a little longer as it takes time for the benefits of boosted collagen production to be seen.
