Fairmont the Palm partners with doctor for its spa
Fairmont The Palm has partnered with London-based rejuvenation and anti-ageing aesthetic treatment doctor Rita Rakus to bring three therapies at the Willow Stream Spa from September 2016 onwards.
This marks the newest addition to the hotel’s wellness approach.
Dr. Rakus, who has a Knightsbridge practice and many celebrity clients, will launch three technologically advanced anti-ageing treatments at the resort's spa.
"Our partnership with Dr. Rakus is the latest in a series of resort initiatives designed to focus on different lifestyle aspects, from dining and nutrition to health, fitness and relaxation; and complements our philosophy of creating balance in everything we do in order to add value to the guest experience and local community," said Fairmont the Palm general manager Mark Sawkins.
Headlining the treatments is the BTL Exilis, a radio frequency based system for skin tightening, body contouring and cellulite treatment. Home to the first BTL Exilis machine in the region and as the number one skin tightening system in the US, this treatment is useful for pre and post body shaping and reducing targeted fat deposits, as well as firming and strengthening the facial collagen network to deliver anti-ageing benefits.
This is also my particular area of specialisation, and I was thrilled to personally train the hotel’s spa therapists on this life-changing technique, as well as share my years of hands-on experience during scheduled visits to Dubai," said Dr. Rakus.
Dr. Rakus’ other treatments available at Willow Stream Spa include the Visia skin analysis system, which uses a facial scanner to assess an individual’s skin, identifying a wide range of issues from sub surface to age factors, allowing therapists to recommend a comprehensive skin rejuvenation programme.
The third treatment is the popular HydraFacial. “We all want healthy skin for life. This groundbreaking treatment uses patented Vortex Fusion technology to detoxify, rejuvenate and protect the face through a four -step programme that exfoliates and hydrates thereby restoring skin to its optimum condition, and by reducing wrinkles," Dr. Rakus added.
Available by appointment only, all three non-invasive treatments are geared towards both men and women and are guaranteed to yield instant results with zero downtime and no side effects.
